The Week in Blink: Four of seven days this week were dedicated to Blink Cincinnati, a 30 block multimedia exhibit focusing on light mapping, lights, and murals. Over a million people were expected throughout the event and it was busy all four nights, including rainy Friday.
I was wowed by the art, the creativity, and by the peaceable crowds. It’s too late tonight to write much, so here are some pics that capture the event for me.
Aliennati – light mapping of Cincinnati Icons. This is Bootsy Collins.Very simple and surprisingly effective “Light Stream” which we called “Canoes.” Lights changed to the Smetna nautically themed piece Moldaur.

Fountain Square mapping worked better with less people so you could see the ground.

The light mapping here was great, but the guys who opened the window to scream down “Yes. We are part of the display” was an unexpected joy!
